The Clinic and Policlinic for Cardiac Surgery in Rostock is located in a modern perioperative centre. All surgical subjects including heart surgery, with the anesthesia and radiology merged under one roof. Our modern facility provides effective and efficient care for our patients before, during, and after the operation.

Cardiac Surgery is today a well-advanced and safe surgical procedure. The Team of the clinic and policlinic for cardiac surgery of the University of Rostock has many years of experience with heart surgery and the surgery of the great vessels. Our clinic is able to manage all the heart defects in newborns, infants, children and adults.

Although cardiac surgery is a technically oriented discipline, both medical and personal care for our patients are of paramount importance to us.
